    Double rainbow all the way!

    I came back from a trip to Austin today and chilled with my mom until dinner.

    I ate dinner with my family, cleared my plate and walked to the living room.

    I sat down at the piano and tried to play some Joanna Newsom songs.

    Then I wrote this song and recorded it with the built-in mic on my macbook.

    So naturally, I slapped the effects on thick.

    I’ll probably re-record this on a grand piano somewhere sometime and it’ll be all epic as fuck.

    Chris recorded this a year ago (maybe/probably? longer than that), and i woke up with the opening/recurring melody playing in my head. it took me a while to identify it, but i remembered it as being his.

    perfect for this [lonely] winter afternoon.
