lifepaths overlap. sometimes for short periods of time and sometimes forever. people can leave lasting impressions, no matter the time that we know them. sometimes these impressions are positive and make us better people, and sometimes these impressions hurt us and change us for the worse/t.

the point is, in my opinion, they happen for a reason- to teach us lessons, to make us stronger, to make us reflect on who we are and what we are becoming.

i am lucky to have everyone that is in my life. i am lucky to have known the people that are no longer in my life. thanks to all of these people, i am the person i am now.

most importantly, life goes on. we must deal with the bitter punches (and encounters) and savour the good times. we are all still here, and despite any and all hardships, we are so lucky.
